    Chester Harold Paull was born in Fort Howard, the old town of Greenbay, Wi.
    He was five years old when the Rasmussen family and his mother moved to West Allis. He attended school there from first grade through high school. He was active in the United Presbyterian Church where he made life-long friendships. He received a partial football scholarship at Monmouth College in Monmouth, Ill but worked his way through to receive a B.S. degree in Physics where because he was a student assistant to the professor who was working in Xray research he developed a strong interest in electrical engineering.
    He was supposed to get a fellowship working on his own with General Electric in that field but because of the Depression when he graduated in 1930, he wasn't hired by General Electric. Being unable to find a job in his professional field, he took a temporary job with Federal Government in directing CCC workers to remove Mulberry bushes to prevent white pine blister rust.
    Then the government ran out of funds in 1933 so in order to keep eating Chet took a temporary job as dispatcher for trucking firm. Except for short four years during the war he spent next forty years in transportation field.

    The war gave him only opportunity to work in new field of electronics as he was instructor to pilots and bombardiers in use of formation stick and super-charger. At end of war he returned to traffic. Soon another temporary position was offered him with General Motors Corp in new Electronics Milwaukee plant working on guidance system for space travel. That temporary position lasted from 1949 until end of space program and his retirement in 1971. He moved to new home in Port Charlotte, Fl. in January of 1973 lived there with wife, Flroence E. Hinman over twenty two years until his death. He suffered a massive stroke on Sunday, February 26 and died at 4:45 P.M. on March 2, 1995 at St. Joe's Bon Secor Hospital in Port Charlotte, FL. aged 87 years, 9 mos. 13 days.

    Chester married Florence Elizabeth Betti Hinman on 31 Aug 1939 in Minneapolis, Hennepin, Minnesota, USA. Florence (daughter of Ira Perry Hinman and Florence Elizabeth Montgomery) was born on 22 Oct 1920 in Postville, Allamakee, Iowa, USA; died on 6 Feb 2009 in Zephyrhills, Pasco, Florida, USA.
