- Floyd and Forrest were twins. From Leona Baldwin: "When these twins were born my grandmother Allie (Alice) Montgomery Furnish and Aunt Molly Johnson, her sister, had to help care for them. They had no way to keep the cow's milk cold and it went sour in the bottle. The two girls didn't know how to care for the babies and fed them the sour milk. Grandma said their mother cried so hard when they died. She said her mother had dreams of little ones dying and had seen angels on the post of her bed in the middle of the night. Hannah had comsumption and several of the children contracted the disease. Grandpa William Montgomery had cancer."
