      She was the daughter of Joseph J. Flory and Mary Catherine (Conrad) Flory of Schwarzw-Wurttemberg, Germany. She was reportedly born somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean on the ship "Hope" during the voyage to America in 1733. She married Jacob Naff Sr in Lancaster County, PA in 1755 and moved with the Naff family to Franklin County, VA in 1782. She lived here in Naffs, VA for the remainder of her life. Her grave is marked by a fieldstone, to the left (North) of Jacob Naff Sr. The gravesite can be located using GPS at N 37/08.730' , W 80/00.913'.
