  Notes	Most Trees list a Thomas Barton who married a Mary Willoughby here. Barton Historical Society website does not adopt this version. I notice tha this Thomas and Mary were born in Massachusetts and that she died there, which does not seem to fit with the popular unsourced version. According to the "Barton Book" this father would be a John Barton who sailed from England. Dates for this John Barton, however, are too early -- maybe one or two generations out.
